Alfheim (Realm of the Elves) is a beautiful and vast world bathed in light, and is often called Andlang (the vast plains), or Vidblåin (the big blue). It is the second in the spectrum of the nine worlds in Norse Mythology and borders to Muspellheim and Vaneheim.
Alfheim is inhabited by the good natured light elves, spiritual and secretive beings who keep mostly to themselves.
Alfheim is ruled by Frey, the God of fertility, who was bestowed with the title of ruler as a gift when he grew his first tooth as a child.
Little else is known about this world and its secretive people.
